You can be an advocate simply by correcting a friend's inappropriate crack about massage. Tell your pal that his/her comment is inappropriate, and that by changing how we dialogue about massage, we're actually protecting the therapists.
Protection starts with correction!
In the state of Virginia, massage therapists are licensed by the Board of Nursing. If you come across a massage therapist acting inappropriately, please report the therapist. This works both ways!
